Hello!
Before I start writing this blog post, I have to say: I really hate “BEST OF” type of blog post, because IT IS SOOO HARD to eliminate photos for these posts! lol.
I’ve been working on this blog post on/off for almost 2 weeks now and every time I sit down to select only 1! photo from each session, each wedding I’ve shot, I start looking at the whole shoot, relieve the day, smile and want to turn back… I really do! It’s a tortune! 🙂
Anyways, you know I am -kind of- joking:) I do like this post because it gives me an opportunity look back at the past year, see how much I’ve learned and grown, how many people I met with, how many lives I’ve been involved in… so let’s start!
In 2017, after learning that we were pregnant in February, things started to shape a little bit differently than I originally had planned. My due date was October 26th, the middle of busy photography season ( because, fall in ohio <3), so I had to cancel 3 weddings:( But…I still managed to shoot 19 weddings while being pregnant along with many engagement and portrait sessions.
I also attended 2 workshops : Love & Light, which was about wedding photography, and a Newborn workshop to challenge myself more about newborn photography.
I also organized a boudoir marathon day in September, to see how I will like Boudoir Photography, and I LOVED it! In fact, I am running a Boudoir Mini Sessions Marathon next week, and contact me if you want it! You can find more info HERE.

BEST OF 2017 WEDDINGS : Some new venues I shot at this year is Nationwide Event& Conference Center, WatersEdge Event &Conference Center, Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove, Creekside Event Center in Gahanna, Via Vecchia, The Kitchen (2 weddings actually!), Jefferson Country club, Hoover ymca Park. I also shot 3! wedding in Dock 580:), and my 1st LGBT Wedding in Columbus Athenaeum.
BEST OF ENGAGEMENTS: Since I already shared wedding photos of my 2017 couples, I decided to share a few photos of 2018 couples, so The majority of these are my 2018 couples <3 I can’t wait to share these sessions before each their wedding day!
