Well, I was going to share this wedding at Steam Plant in Dayton that I associate shot on my Instagram but it is SO hard to eliminate the photos, therefore here we are! Scroll below so you will understand:)
Joke aside, Lauren and Jake had a beautiful wedding at Steam Plant in Dayton in early May and I’ve been so busy that I couldn’t share. I associate shot this wedding for a friend, which mean I only shoot but don’t do the editing. And since I didn’t need to edit, the photos were just waiting to be looked at:)
First, what a beautiful couple; wow, models! And the historic Steam Plant! wow wow wow! This was my 4th wedding in Dayton area and I am always surprised by these Dayton gems!
Even it was my 1st time shooting here, I had no difficulty. Every corner was jaw dropping- did I mention the amazing couple?!
They got ready in the building….
They chose not to do a 1st look but read their wows to each other privately…
They chose to have an indoor ceremony….
And we did their photos after the ceremony around the Steam Plant.
Even we didn’t walk around too much or change locations, the brick exterior of the historic building added so much to their photos.
And the reception time… Will you look at these details that went perfectly with the ambiance?! Absolutely gorgeous!
And during dinner, right before all the activities started, the sun came out and I took the couple out for a sunset walk. We walked to a nearby bridge and caught the sun in-between a corner park. Again, simplicity at it’s finest <3
They absolutely had a blast afterwards on the dance floor and on the drive home, even i was tired, I again could not believe that this is my job!
