It’s been a while since I last blogged a wedding. But this full wedding day shoot of Tori&Ryan’s The Bluestone Wedding in Columbus, Ohio deserved a spot on my blog!
This laid back and sweet couple exchanged their wows with a ceremony and reception at The Bluestone in Downtown Columbus on a summer day.
Surrounded with their best people, we tried to capture all the different and uniques aspects of their Wedding Venue, The Bluestone, where it is now used as a concert venue. It was my 3rd time shooting a wedding at The Bluestone (see previous weddings here), and again it did not disappoint!
The Wedding Day of Tori&Ryan
While bride was getting ready upstairs, boys used the basement of the venue as their getting ready location. Taking photos of the boys with the inflated guitars was a request from the bride:) The guitars went perfect with the venue- the music.
The couple also opted to do a first look…
… which allowed us to do many photos of the bride&groom, along with the bridal party in and out of the venue!
With the help of my 2nd shooter, from the balcony, we were able to capture different angles during their ceremony!
And of course the unique wedding venue, the Bluestone… I loved how the sun shined through in from the staioned glass right before their dinner time.
And of course my favorite time for photos- golden hour! They lucked out with a beautiful summer evening so we headed outside. Tro asked to have some greenery in her wedding photos so we just walked acroo the street to a small park to capture more relaxed Bride&Groom sunset photos in Downtown Columbus, Ohio.
Finally the last part of their wedding: Reception! Of Course the inflatable balloons had to come out! 🙂 And a s’mores bar, a favorite!
I truly enjoyed getting to know Tori&Ryan during their wedding planning process, engagement photos and then on their wedding day. My 1st full wedding of 2026 did not disappoint! 🙂
