Here is to the perfect start of my 2017 Wedding season!
Trisha&Jon, German Village residents and lovers of the neighbourhood kept everything close and intimate. They got ready in Sheraton Capital Square Hotel, where we walked to take their bridal formals in Ohio Statehouse. I’ve seen so many wedding photos taken in the Statehouse but never had a chance to shoot there. When Trisha was worried about Ohio’s unpredictable weather, I offered Ohio Statehouse as a backup indoor space and she was immediately on board. I am so glad that we arranged everything in advance because it was a COLD March day!
After shooting their bride&groom photos in Ohio Statehouse, we headed to German Village for a few more photos. Everything went smoothly and we were even able to finish their family photos before the ceremony, so they could just enjoy the cocktail hour in The Kitchen with their guests.
Talking about The Kitchen… what a neat venue! It was perfect for Trisha&Jon’s small ceremony and big celebration afterwards with their close friends. And the food was delicious! Oh and the cake! They had not 1 but 6 wedding cakes! 6 cakes which Trisha&Jon made from scratch for each other in the last 6 years on their birthdays, how neat <3. And the decorations that matched Trisha’s ring&dress…the list goes on and on, everything was perfect! It was my first time shooting in The Kitchen which is also in German Village and can’t wait to shoot there again in July!
Trisha&Jon, thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend your special day with you and I again again wish you a lifetime happiness together:)
