Kim and Dan’s Columbus Museum of Art Wedding in Columbus, OH was my first wedding of 2024 wedding season. It was also my 1st time shooting a wedding in Columbus Museum of Art and I absolutely loved it!
The bride got ready in Westin Downtown while Groom and groomsmen got ready in their own house. We all then met at Historic Westin for the first look photos. Dan was so sweet and went with the flow all day. Kim was really chill, despite the wind and flying hair all day:) After their first look by Westin, we then took a few Bridal party photos before heading to Columbus Museum of Art for ceremony and reception.
Like i’ve said, this was my 1st time shooting here but with help of CMA staff and the couple’s wedding coordinator Ericka from Ericka Greene Events, we navigated easily and was able to take many wedding photos of the couple.
Their ceremony was really special with sun beaming on them. Many shed a few tears and it was such an honor to capture all the lovely family and friends.
After ceremony, we walked around with just Kim and Dan to take photos in a few art gallery and we also caught the beautiful spring sunset.
They had a live band during their reception which added more to fun. The bridal party made sure to give everyone laughs during speeches. We again sneaked out for a few night photos around Columbus Museum of Art. I ended the night with a few group photo, including Ohio Wesleyan University crew.
This was such a fun wedding to shoot for me and I hope to capture more weddings at Columbus Museum of Art Wedding in the upcoming year. Hope you like the photos below! (as always, excuse the resolution problem- you can contact me to see the full gallery).
