If you look back a little in my blog, you will see that I again have a gap between this wedding post and my last wedding post. Well, when you shoot one of your dear friends’ wedding, and know half of the guests, you shoot for 10+hrs and have A TON! of photos that you just can’t eliminate to share in a small blog post. Yep, life is hard sometimes! lol
But seriously, besides all the fun, I was soooo honored when Betsy asked me if I would be interested in being their wedding photographer. Hell yeas! She made me promise that I would also enjoy the party, but I just can’t imagine enjoying it more without spending the WHOLE day with them:) Life is good again!
I know Nick through my husband and I remember the day he introduced us Betsy. I was like “Where was this tiny, elegant, cute lady before, Nick?!” I find myself so lucky to witness all the life changes they went thorough, visiting them in NC when they moved away for a while, seeing the dogs they added to their family, the houses they bought…they are a perfect match! and perfect friends!
So here below, are only some of my favorites of their wedding day which took place in Ariel Foundation Park, Mount Vernon. Today also happens to be Nick&Betsy’s 6th Month Anniversary, so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FRIENDS <3 Sorry about the length of this blog post but I know you’ll enjoy it. Most of these people are so close to my heart, so this is also an opportunity for me to share my beautiful friends with you. Happy scrolling 🙂
Let’s give a break:) Like I’ve said, Betsy&Nick are our friends so my husband brought our son to the ceremony. This is his reaction captured by my 2nd photographer when he saw me. A quick hug to him made my day right before the ceremony:)
And, keep scrolling down and wait until you see Nick’s reaction when he sees Betsy, melts my heart!
This is their reaction when I told them “The formals are done, let’s go PARTYYY!” 🙂 Then I of course couldn’t help but take a quick photo when I saw them in that amazing vintage car!
This photo above, taken as they walk into their reception, is placed within %20 in Shoot&Share’s Worldwide Photo contest 2016. One of my all time favorites as well!
You made it this far? Thank you! Let’s give a final break. This photo of one of the bridesmaids Melissa dancing, got also placed in %30 of Shoot and Share’s 2016 contest. I am shooting her wedding in June and can’t wait to capture her dancing in her own wedding reception in Via Vecchia!
Annnd that’s me at the end-excuse the mess after 10+ hrs of shooting:)-but I love this photo!
Hope you enjoyed this post:) xox
