I was about 3 weeks postpartum when Sarah asked me for a small Christmas themed family session in a park, with a white barn, where they usually take walks at. I did not hesitate a second because as you will see below this family is so lovely and have the happiest girls in the world! Even it was cold, our small family session became a bigger one ’cause I just couldn’t stop shooting! We sang songs, threw babies in the air, chase daddy, chase each other, read books… We didn’t do these just to move around for photos but really really had fun all together; and I always believe that’s secret of a successful session:)
This Christmas themed Family session is one of my favorite family sessions I’ve ever done! Sarah&Andrew are dear friends of ours and I love this family! After this session, which was done in November 2017, I’ve shot their maternity session and newborn photos- yes, they are a family of 5 this year!:) You can see the maternity session HERE and I really can’t wait to share their lifestyle, in-home newborn session soon!
And I will end with a small note: While looking at these, I want you to fully concentrate, not just scroll, feel the love and joy. Mini sessions are very popular these days, because you may just need a few updated photos or due to colder weather you may think that 1 hr regular sessions are long. I see both sides and understand all the reasons, but these 1 hour long family sessions definitely worth getting cold for! With all these activities, they tell a story. And for yours, we can even add hot chocolate & cookies & some blankets 🙂 Plus, coats, hats&gloves always look cute, IMO:) Are you convinced yet? How about going to a Christmas tree farm with me while you pick your tree? Or even your backyard or photos in your home by the fireplace… Whenever and wherever, if you want me to tell your story with my photos, I AM IN!
