Our Boston Trip, April 2017

Hey everybody! it’s been 2 days since we’ve been back and I already organized our photos from our Boston trip, thinking that if I don’t do it now, I will never do it:) These are a mix of my big girl camera and iphone photos. I really pushed myself hard to use my camera but walking 2-3 miles everyday while pushing a stroller out in Boston streets was a bit challenging so took my phone out as well once in a while:)

The first day, we were pretty tired, but seeing the wonder in my son’s eyes made us want to explore the city immediately. He LOVED the subway- aka choo-choos, lol.  Besides “catching the plane”, train definitely made his 1st day 🙂 We walked through Newbury St, passed Boston Public Gardens and Commons to all the way to Boston Children Museum, where the entrance was only $1 after 5pm- win win!

2nd day, we woke up and explored Newton Center, where we stayed with my husband’s cousin and her husband- look at that cute house with that red door! Then we visited Harvard University, made Aidan touch John Harvard’s foot:), and spent some time in World’s only Curious George store where I did my daily shopping! 🙂 We also couldn’t pass on Mike’s Pastry and got some canoli- yummmm!

3rd day, it was again time for a choo-choo ride:) It was 70degrees out so we decided to see Boston from the water. Took a 45 min boat tour from New England Aquarium’s port area and enjoyed the city views under sun:) Day went by eating in Quincy Market, visiting North end, turning back to Boston Commons- where we pet the iconic ducks:)-, walking in cute streets of Beacon Hill, and lastly walking by The Charles River. What a cool area! Docks were not kid friendly, but we may need to arrange a babysitter next time we go there, so we can have a drink ON the water! 🙂 Ended the day with a playground and went to bed early to “catch” our 6am flight back.

It was a great time with family and I truly enjoyed watching the world from Aidan’s eyes- so curious! Hope he remembers bits of it; if not, we will just have to take him back lol.

Hope you enjoyed our little adventure! We will be visiting Nashville in May and Turkey in June, so stay tuned:)
