We are in mid-summer. That time of the year which some call “Hell’s front porch”, aka hot days:) So I understand, family photo sessions may not sound fun. Unless, you are like me! I get our family photos done once a year and this year, it’s at the beginning of August! I just LOVE summer and looking at those summer photos on cold winter days, to feel the warmth:) The warm sun, the warm colors… In the past, we’ve walked around a park, chased each other, read books, blew bubbles, played hot hands:))) With 2 kids, I find the more activity and less pose the better! So i started thinking, how can I provide activities that will remind the nice side of hot summer days to my clients? And here we are; for the first time ever I am excited to offer 3 different style Summer Mini Photo Sessions!
1- Wildflowers Summer Minis
July 29th-August 16th
20 minute session, 20 digitals in an online gallery with print release (additional photos are available to purchase), $150
These sessions will be held in a wildflower filed that is located on the North Westerville side of Columbus. You can see a session that’s done in that field HERE
Due to unexpected Columbus weather, I am not going to put any set date to these sessions. I just prefer to do these after 7.30pm, to get the golden hour colors as seen below, but I know it’s close to some toddlers’ bed time and I am open to make exceptions if needed- just let me know when booking. To book, you can just simply tell me a date that work best for you in the form at the end of this blog post, and we will adjust it in case of rain.
2- Creek Summer Minis
July 29th-August 16th
20 minute session, 20 digitals in an online gallery with print release (additional photos are available to purchase), $150.
I love taking my kids to metro parks, and visiting creeks in Summer. Especially my son, loveees playing in the water and picking rocks to his rock collection:) Creeks are also cooler spots on hot summer days, so I thought these would make a perfect location for family photos:)
Just like Wildflower mini sessions, I am not going to put any set date to these sessions. You can just simply pick a date that works best for you from the form at the end of this blog post, and we will adjust it in case of rain.
3- Sunflower Filed Summer Minis
August 19th (rain date August 20th)
15 minutes sessions, 15 digitals in an online gallery with print release (additional photos are available to purchase), $150
For the first time ever, I am so excited that a local farm on the east side of Columbus is opening their sunflower field to photo sessions. These sessions will be shorter than the other mini sessions and the dates are limited. Even tho, I know that the photos will be so unique and it will be worth it! You can see a few Sunflower mini sessions on Goggle HERE. To book, please select your preferred time below. You will also need to be available on August 20th, in case of bad weather.
I think I covered everything for these Summer mini sessions but please let me know if you have any questions. To book, please fill out the form below. I also require $50 deposit fee to finalize the booking process. This amount will be deducted from your session fee, and the rest of the payment is on session date.
