Last Fall in November, I shot my 2nd Columbus Courthouse Wedding in Downtown! Like I’ve mentioned on Kelly&Bob’s Courthouse Wedding post before, I do love shooting couthouse weddings. I got married in a courthouse; the ceremony is small but the joy is still so big! Rebecca and Tavaris’s wedding was no different:) If you want to know more about Franklin County Courthouse Weddings, I found a great article about 8 reasons to have a Courthouse Wedding.
Right after the ceremony in Courthouse, we went Scioto Mile for some newly weds and family portraits. It was a beautiful, sunny November afternoon. I am usually hesitant in shooting direct sunlight but Scioto Mile is a tricky area in that aspect (photographer friends you understand i believe?:) but I overcame that fear with Rebecca&Tavaris’s photos and love how they turned out.
Once we finalized the photos on Scioto Mile, we went to Milestone 229 where they had reservations for a small family dinner. How special!
My time was very short with them but we used every second of it! I am so honored to be able to capture the day for them. As always, no wedding is too small for me so contact me for any intimate weddings or elopements you are planning. I am happy to capture them as much I love capturing traditional wedding days:)
