On a rainy like this, I can’t think of anything but to blog Mariah&Stephen’s rainy Darby House Wedding! It’s been almost a year since this lovely wedding so I was planning on posting this on their wedding anniversary in September but I can’t wait any longer:)
I’ve heard and seen wedding photos taken at Darby House in Galloway before. So when Mariah booked me for their wedding there, I was so excited! I went to scout out the location before the wedding and was so anxious to shoot at their beautiful land in Galloway. However, Mariah&Stephen’s wedding day started with rain. Usually when it’s rainy at the beginning, it pauses for a little or even disappears in the afternoon. In this case, it didn’t! It downpoured ALL day! 🙂 What I remember from this day tho, is Mariah smiley face ALL day! When we were doing her engagement photos in German Village, I knew she will be so pretty and give us a lot of smiles on her wedding day. And even the rain couldn’t not get that smile off of her face:) She was getting married to the love of her love and that’s all she cared about… what a dream bride <3 We did almost all the portraits inside Darby Houses indoor ceremony location and I am not mad about it!
It was such a cozy, calm and beautiful wedding at Darby House in Columbus and I am excited to share it with you today. I hope the saying is true: Rain on wedding day will bring luck to these two forever 🙂
