Winter finally decided to show up in Columbus today, at the end of February. Well, maybe it actually tried to show up a couple more times and one of them was during Sara and Derek’s Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove Wedding. I had shot a summer wedding at Oak Grove of Jorgensen farms before. But when Grace of Sam&Grace Photography asked me for help to shoot this wedding, I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this magical. Grace was about 7 months back then but we didn’t take it slow at all! With their 10 hour coverage, we met Sara&Derek while they were getting ready and stayed until the end. I rarely stay until the end of the reception but I am so glad they asked us to. They were DANCERS! Seriously, you have to go all the way down in post to see their reception photos; SO SO GOOD!
The Details
Their whole wedding at Oak Grove was overall so special. Sara did a reveal for bridesmaids, her dad and Derek; how fun! And Derek… I may not have met a groom who was this ambitious about dancing, photos… this fun… this outgoing! We were done with their bride&groom photos at Oak Grove and was walking in when it suddenly started to snow! I had to keep them out:) We walked around the venue a bit. I bet Sara froze, but they didn’t complain; these are some of my favotire photos of their wedding day on the grounds of Jorgensen Farms! They had their ceremony at the greenhouse of Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove right around sunset and it was cozy, romantic!
I tried to tell the magic of their day but now I will let photos speak. Sorry for the long post ahead but I know you will enjoy this Winter wedding at Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove:)
