Covid19 and the ways you challenge us this year…I don’t want to call this Outdoor Newborn Photo Session a challenge tho, because it was actually really beautiful but I will tell you a little bit about it below.
As every part of life and job, photography is also affected highly, especially indoor sessions, due to Covid19. Before and even during lockdown, I had several clients who had scheduled a maternity or newborn session. When everything changed, I knew we had to adjust a few things- especially for newborn shoots. I have been shooting lifestyle, in-home newborn sessions and Fresh 48 sessions in the hospitals (see HERE) and these are all indoors- in usually thight spaces. So I searched, and found that Outdoor newborn sessions have been done and they looked beautiful. So I offered it to Carol, when she contacted me for a newborn session. We all know that those first few weeks of newborns are precious and it’s important to capture- but now we had to be more careful. This outdoor newborn session in Columbus.Ohio worked perfectly. With it being May, It was still a little cold, but babies are the cutest when wrapped like a burrito- am i right? 🙂 And summer is coming so I hope to do more of these in the safest way, especially with all the regulations Covid19 brought.
