Hello everybody! Today I wanted to do something new and share a few Wedding Venues in Columbus Ohio that I had a chance to shoot for the first time in 2019. As a Wedding Photographer in Columbus, I’ve been shooting weddings for 6 years and shooting at new wedding venues in central Ohio always excites me. I felt like this year was the first year that almost of my weddings were at a NEW venue for me. With a busy and successful business year, I had no chance to blog many of these weddings so this blog post is also a guidence for me to do so during my slow months this winter:)
With all that said, here are some of the Wedding venues I shot for the first time in 2019:
1-SCIOTO RESERVE COUNTRY CLUB
Let’s start from this gorgeous wedding venue in Powell, OH. Living only 15 minutes away from it, I’ve heard about this venue many times! When one of clients contacted me and told her mother is getting married at Scioto Reserve Country Club in March, I was so excited! It was a VERY rainy March day for Cindy&Tony, but they had amazing time just being inside with their loved ones. Can’t wait to blog this wedding at Scioto Reserve Country Club soon!
2-GRANVILLE INN, GRANVILLE/OH
One of the most unique wedding venues in Granville Ohio is for sure Granville Inn. This historic building serves as a hotel as, restaurant and is perfect for small gatherings with a cute patio. I was so excited and luckly had a little extra time so I actually blogged this intimate wedding at Granville Inn HERE.
3-DOCK 580
Dock 580 is definatelly is not a new venue for me. I’ve shot at this gorgeous rustic wedding venue in Downtown Columbus many times and Mike&Heather’s wedding in 2019 continued this tradition:) With 3 venues inside, The Venue, The Loft and Juniper, Dock 580 is definatelly a great venue for weddings !
4-CULTURAL ARTS CENTER IN DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS
OK, I have NO idea how I never shot here before! The private patio of this wedding venue right next to Scioto Mile was amazing! We started the dat at Westin with getting ready part, moved to Cultural Arts Center for Ceremony and ended it with some sunset photos over Scioto Mile. I was again so excited and put some of my favorite wedding photos HERE on a blog post.
5–NORTH BANK PARK PAVILLION IN NATIONWIDE AREA
North Bank park has an amazing Columbus skyline view! I’ve shot MANY engagament sessions there but never had a chance to shoot a wedding at North Bank Park Pavillion. Neil&Ryan’s intimate wedding was a perfect start! We met in Bicentennial Park for a few portraits with their dog. Their ceremony had amazing views and we finished all portaits right before rain started. You can see the most important moments of this special wedding HERE
6-BELL MANOR IN CHILLICOTHE
Bell Manor is a new venue in Chillicothe and Makayla&Isaiah’s wedding was one of the first weddings ever held there. We shot their engagement session there as well and I was so excited for their wedding day. It did not dissappoint; stay tuned for long blog post:)
7-THE GLENN A. GALLAGHER CENTER
My husband is from Mount Vernon, Ohio and we have many friends in the area. Over the years I attended many wedding receptions in Gambier Ohio but Aubry&Jordan’s wedding shoot was my 1st wedding in Gambier,OH. They rented the cutest airbnb, walked to their church and their reception venue. They drove vintage cars in-between and hug their puppy. It was an amazing day!!!
8-ALUM CREEK FARM, DELAWARE OHIO
Alum Creek Farm is an amazing new wedding venue in Delaware Ohio! Greenhouse ceremony space in Columbus is very trendy lately and this wedding venue covers it! They have a beautiful on land house to get ready as well and you can all the details of Amber&Hayden’s wedding HERE
9-HIGHLINE CAR HOUSE
My last wedding of 2019 was at Highline Car House in German Village. If you know me, I love rustic wedding venues. With all historical rustic elements, Highline Car House was somewhere I always wanted to shoot it; and I LOVED it!
This sums up all the new wedding venues I shot in last year in Columbus, Ohio. It is a long post but I am so happy to see most of my weddings together in a blog post. Besides these venues, I also assisted a few wedding photographers in Columbus area for their weddings and those were all new places for me to shoot as well:) Some of them are STRONGWATER COLUMBUS EVENT CENTER, SWAN LAKE EVENT CENTER, POWELL/OH, RUSTY RIVER BARN, UTICA/OH. I am going to share them in a different blog post so stay tuned!
