Until this year, i had only shot one backyard wedding and I was glad to see them back. So, on a beautiful day like this, I am excited to share two Intimate Backyard Weddings in Columbus, Ohio below. Intimate Backyard Wedding in Columbus #1
I have so much to say about Kristen&Jeff’s wedding but I will have to summarize here. Covid made almost every wedding couples’ plan change in 2020. Some had to postpone it cause they wanted to big wedding, so had traveling family members, some lost their jobs, some venues closed… I can count more! But for Kristen&Jeff, the very least expected happened. They were already planning a small celebration but they had to change their date because Jeff was deployed and his arrival date changed due to travel restrictions. So they had to push their summer backyard wedding to Fall, but hey, nobody complained about it! Look at their bride&groom photos with all lovely fall colors of Clintonville!
They said their I do.s in their own backyard, so so so sweet! They wanted twinkle lights be on during ceremony, so we started to celebration and cocktail hour earlier before the ceremony; how unique. They definitely did THEM and I loved being a part of their special day!

Carole&Greg found me about 2 months before their wedding. When they told me their Intimate Backyard Wedding plans, I really did not expect anything quiet like this! Carole, being from England, brought British tea time theme into her backyard wedding in Westerville and I was in awe shooting alllllll the details. From the first moment Greg saw Carole, until I left, they were so into each other and I loved capturing this small ceremony of theirs. They connected with Carole’s mother over internet, so special.
